The Ghost Show at Trois Pommes Patisserie
I wanted to make artwork about the spirit world because it exists alongside ours and yet it usually goes unnoticed. In order to find out what happens when the living meets the dead, I collected real ghost stories from friends and family. All of the stories are first hand accounts except for the story behind the collage “Forgiveness”. The tale behind that collage was passed down to a friend of mine from her grandmother, who originally encountered the spirit. My goal in creating these pieces was to maintain the integrity of the stories that I had been told, while illustrating and interpreting them to make them my own.
